Early Lifestyle Modification For Obesity Prevention

In today’s modern time just like diabetes and high blood pressure obesity too becoming serious problem world wide. The main reason of obesity is today’s lifestyle people are living like not doing physical exercise, irregular eating habits, consuming junk and fast food, stressful and sedentary life etc. Due to this modern life style the number of adults and children suffering from obesity increasing day by day. According to Acharya Charak the causes of obesity are: not exerting physically, sleeping in afternoon, consuming sweetened foods, the diet and life style which increases kapha(fat)  in body. People are ready to spend lots of money for reducing weight. It is well known that obesity is not a single disease but it attracts other diseases like diabetes, hypertension, infertility, high cholesterol etc. So it’s better to make early modifications in lifestyle to  obesity prevention by following Ayurvedic health tips daily like:

1.Drink 1 glass of lukewarm water mix with 1tsp of honey and lemon juice every morning at empty stomach.

2.Sleeping hours should be 7-8 hrs and never sleep in afternoon.

3.Do physical exercise like jogging, cycling, swimming, morning and evening walk etc.

4.Always eat your meal at particular time and in regular intervals. And dinner should be taken two hours before sleep.

5.Whenever you take your meal keep your 1/4th part stomach empty and give place to salad and sprouts in your meals.

6.Seasonal veggies and fruits like bottle gourd, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, apple, papaya, pomegranate etc. Should be taken in high amount.

7.If suffering from constipation take 1 tsp of triphla powder or isabgoal husk at night with lukewarm water.

8.Do Pranayam(kapalbhati) and Yogasanas like Vajrasana, Trikonasana, Ardhmatsandriyasan, Gaumukhasan, Pavanmuktanasan, Yogik jogging etc.

9.Add barley flour and chick pea (kala Chana) flour in your regular wheat flour.

10.Drink 20ml of each Alovera juice, Amla juice and Godhan ark twice daily half an hour before your meals.

11.Avoid oily, spicy, junk and bakery food, tea, coffee , cold drinks, chocolates, sweets etc.
