Say Bye to Constipation Through Ayurveda….
Constipation or Vibandh in Ayurveda is a condition in which person is Inable to evacuate the bowels completely or passes very hard stools. Constipation
occurs due to Vata dosha aggrevation resulted due to an incorrect lifestyle, lack of physical activities and poor eating patterns. Although constipation is often looked upon as a common problem, if not treated or if Constipation treatment is delayed, it can lead to further problems such as fissures, fistulas, piles, lack of appetite and indigestion.
There are simple rules that helps in fighting constipation like:
1. Drink 1 glass of lukewarm water with 1tsp of honey early morning at empty stomach.
2.Chew your every grass of meal 30 to40 times.
3. Take fibrous food like sprouts, salads(carrots, cucumber), seasonal fruits n veggies.
4. You can take Isabgoal husk or triphla powder at night with lukewarm milk.
5. Drink 3 to 4 litres of water daily.
6. Do pranayam and major Yogasanas like pawanmuktan, vajrasana, gaumukhasana, mandaukasan.
7. Eating 1 teaspoon of roasted fennel at night with a glass of lukewarm water act as mild laxative.
8. Munakka and Anjeer(figs) soaked in warm water also treat constipation especially in children.
9. Eating a half cup of bael pulp fruit with a teaspoon of jaggery or drinking a glass of bael sharbat also helps in treating constipation.
